Dear Family, Friends, Current Patients and Prospective Patients, We would like to welcome you and explain a little about our dental practice, our philosophy, and the type of environment we provide. We are a practice devoted to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of your smile. We both believe in a conservative approach to dental treatment while maintaining the highest standards of care available today.
You, as our patients, are dynamic people with vibrant lives and we value that immensely. Our philosophy is one of comprehensive patient care. We will work with you to address your concerns and needs prior to deciding on a course of treatment that will provide you with best long-term oral health. We know that a visit to the dentist can make anyone uneasy, but we strive to change that perspective by creating a positive experience from the very beginning. We build our relationships with patients on a foundation of trust and will work individually to create a comfortable and relaxing environment. Our entire team is dedicated to providing you with the highest quality of personal service to make your visits as pleasant as possible. We thank you for choosing us to take care of your dental needs and look forward to meeting you.

Delta Dental Insurance Update
19 January 2025
For 25 years our whole team at Koett DDS has believed in providing excellent care for our patients with the highest standards and utilizing the best materials available. We know that each of our patients is unique, and we tailor our practice of dentistry to treat your specific needs as a person as well as a dental patient. It is extremely important to all of us that we are able to continue to provide this level of care to all of our patients. After years of consideration and deliberation, our practice is making a significant change . As of January 1, 2025, we will be ending our contract as preferred providers in Delta Dental’s network. Increasingly over the years, Delta has limited us to a point where we cannot continue to offer the same high-quality dentistry under their contracts. Rather than lower our standards or use lower quality materials or overseas laboratories for our Delta patients, we have chosen to eliminate our in-network status with Delta Dental Insurance. What this means is that we can continue our focus on patient care by providing you with the highest quality dental care and support from our whole team that you have all come to expect. We will continue to accept your Delta Dental insurance as an out-of-network provider, and we will also continue to submit your treatment claims directly to Delta Dental on your behalf. Because Delta Dental insists on sending any claim reimbursements directly to you as a patient, it becomes necessary for us to collect our full office procedural fee directly from you at or before your appointment. What this means for you:
1. You can absolutely continue to be a patient in our practice (and we hope you will). We will continue to bill your insurance as an out-of-network provider.
2. You will be responsible for payment for procedures at the time of service. You will need to contact Delta Dental to find out the specifics of your plan for out-of-network providers, unfortunately Delta Dental will not provide us that information on your behalf.
3. We will submit your dental insurance claims on your behalf, and Delta Dental will reimburse you directly within 7-10 business days.
We know that any change can be difficult, and insurance issues are notoriously confusing. We are dedicated to answering any questions you may have, so that you have very clear expectations for the future. We have created a FAQ sheet to answer some of the most common questions, but we know there will always be unique situations and scenarios and we encourage you to ask so that we may have the opportunity to explain and clarify and prepare you adequately.
Please do not hesitate to call the office and contact us with any questions or concerns.
