Yelena ‘Lena’ Yesaulkova, RDA
I have worked in the dental field for 11 years. In 2006 I began working for Dr. Koett and Dr. Olson. Through my studies in the field of dental health, I obtained my certification as a Registered Dental Assistant. My work brings me much satisfaction, as our office is committed to providing quality care to all our patients. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading, nature and love spending time with my family and friends.
Christy Lorson, RDH
I have been a practicing dental hygienist since 2006. After a short period of searching for the “right office” to work at, I discovered Dr. Koett and Dr. Olson’s practice and started working for them in 2007. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and recently completed an additional Alternative Practice licensure program. The aspect that I enjoy most about my career is the individual attention that the hygiene field allows me to have with my patients. Not only do I know the history of my patient’s teeth and oral hygiene concerns, but I also get the opportunity to know them personally as well. When I am not at the office I’m enjoying family time with my husband Chris and our two little girls Cayla & Camden.

Ilene Pitruzello, RDH Ilene Kendrick, RDH
I graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry with a Bachelors of Science degree in dental hygiene. Understanding the importance of having a trusting relationship with your dental professional is what led me to become an RDH. I believe the most beneficial service I can provide is to educate patients and give them the tools they need to improve their oral and systemic health. I am rewarded everyday by being able to teach people how to prevent disease and care for their teeth. When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family.
Shonnie Southward, RDH
I have been in the dental field for over 20 years. My passion for dentistry began while I was working in the front office of a dental practice. I realized how much I loved the profession, so I decided to go back to school to become a dental hygienist. In 2000, I graduated from Fresno City College and returned to my hometown of San Diego to begin my career. I’ve been a part of Dr. Koett and Dr. Olson’s team since 2005. When I am not cleaning teeth, I spend time with my daughter who keeps me busy!
